Inventory Section Overview

The Inventory tab under Inventory Management is where users can browse, review, and manage all cataloged items currently in stock across all facilities.

Once selected, users will be brought to the Inventory Summary page, which displays all catalog items in a clean, searchable grid. Each row contains key details including:

• Item Name

• Classification (equipment or parts)

• Refurbishable status

• Quantity on hand

• Condition (A through E)

• Fair Market Value

• Stock Status and more.

You can click the "+" sign on any row to reveal expanded data or quickly take action on a specific item.

? Smart Search

The built-in search bar allows users to filter and locate specific items using keywords from any column, not just the item name. For example:

• Typing “red” will return any trucks or parts with "red" in their catalog details.

• Typing “valve” will pull up anything named or described as a valve — even if it’s buried in custom metadata.

This makes searching fast and intuitive — especially when dealing with large inventories across multiple locations.
